Nae Paws

In my last post I had pleasure to tell you of the new addition to our family and promised to let you know how things were going in that department. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to do this but, oh boy, is she hard work! The problem is that it appears she has nae paws!! How's this a problem I hear you ask? Well my herding instincts are really all to pot because she would appear to be unable to walk!! Everyone carries her around or she lies in a cage or sits in a little chair.....and then she disappears! and she clearly hasn't walked past me because believe me, I'm watching. After a frantic search for her I realise that my mum has just put her on the table (I think it's called nappy changing) but this is very confusing for me when I like to know where they all are at any given time. She's also noisy at times but no apparent sense to what she is saying but, worst of all, I'm still waiting for her to give me some chicken, she seems to think it's all about her! Well, believe me, I'll be showing her who's the boss and where the chicken is, she will need to learn her remit in life. I'll get there with this but I think it may take some time and in the meantime............I'M WATCHING YOU KARLIE

New Arrival

Well we have a new arrival in our happy little family, her name is Karlie Rose Barr and she arrived last Saturday, 4th October, on my Mum and Dad's 35th wedding anniversary. Apparently she is very beautiful but I haven't met her yet.
Sooooooo where exactly does this leave me I ask myself??? Well my Mum has disappeared every day for hours since she arrived though my dad's been here. Has she taken over my Mum?? Well she may have a fight on her paws if she tries it (she does have paws.....right?)
Anyway I'll let you know how this pans out and if I approve of this little addition, who knows, she may be going back!!!

Good times

Well Millport was great fun and I walked and walked.......and walked and walked!! We're going back again in August and I'm quite happy about that, and maybe my Mum will remember to take some photos next time!

Postie Postie give me mail

Well I love helping with the mail, as soon as I hear the postie I charge to the letter box and "collect" the mail for my mum, well, for myself to destroy actually, so, My Mum in her wisdom, bought this rather expensive mail sack to collect and protect the mail. What do you think of it???

Oh Baby Baby

I'm sorry I've not updated for a while, the news I have was top secret, but now I can share.....Andrew and Emma are having  a Baby, in October :). This seems to be very exciting news and everyone is smiling and there is much talk of baby, prams, baby clothes, baby sitting lalala, so my question to all my readers is......WHAT IS A BABY???? I can only imagine it's a very tasty treat, much like chicken given all the excitement that's going on!! And is this tasty treat for me too?? Or is it one of those "sorry Bailey, this is not for little dogs"!!! I hope not cos I think I quite fancy trying a piece.
Other than baby news not much is happening, life goes on in a quiet and normal fashion, well except we had a little girl here for the day on Friday called Holly, I was very scared of her at first but very soon we became friends.

Life continues quiet here, there's not much out of the ordinary happening except rain. Now I know rain is not at all unusual in Scotland but this really is RAIN, never ending rain, and I believe that compared to the south of England we have it easy!

Start as I mean to go on

Well Happy 2014 everyone. I fully intend to have a continued nice quiet life in 2014. There has been a lot of wind and rain around recently so I've just been living life in the slow lane and taking things easy. My favourite thing is to cuddle up with my mum and sometimes my favourite toy.
