New Year

Well as we come to the end of 2012 I am reflecting about my past year, it really has been a great one despite the weather. Lots of new things have appeared in my home and all for my greater comfort me thinks!
My mum dad and sis continue to spoil me on a daily basis and my bro visits regularly and my gran too, I love them all!
The highlights of my year are my family and chicken - lots of chicken, and I love carrots and rodeo chews too.

1 year on

1 year ago today I came to live in lovely home. Elizabeth, Jacqueline and Maximus brought me and I have loved it from day 1, being spoiled and pandered to at my every whim.
The video below is when Elizabeth and Jacqueline, along with my mum Solitaire brought me here to see if this would be a suitable home for me. I am the same size as Solitaire now

People

Well we've had a lot of visitors over the past few days, Andrew and Emma... I love them and Louise and Frodo...Now I think they're nice too but, unfortunately I could smell a dog!!

If Heineken made towels??

If Heineken made towels this would be the one! My mamma bought me a new towel for after bath time and rainy walks. I can't quite figure out what was wrong with the ordinary ones but, anyway, she bought me this one! I can't get it off, it attaches around me! But it is soft and fluffy, what do you think??

New Experiences

So yesterday I had a new experience, Isobel the dog groomer came to visit me. Now I greeted her with my usual 'so pleased to see you" greeting until, out came a large silver case with instruments of torture! I wasn't so pleased then and snarled and snapped at her but no....she wasn't giving up so I had to give in and resort to my pathetic, shaky, don't hurt me stance.
Actually she was very good and very quick and all the little knots behind my ears which were annoying me have gone.
I look even more handsome (if possible) now.

Money!!

All I need now is one of those stripy jerseys and a swag bag, I'm such a good thief I can steal anything! This is one of my best finds to date...... but not very tasty :( maybe I prefer chicken yum!!

Lazy?????

Lazy?.....I'm not lazy sis, just discerning!! My sis was calling me lazy because I haven't updated my blog in 15 days apparently! Who's counting? My sis actually. My sis who I ran rings round when my mum and dad were away...........AGAIN!! For goodness sake, how many time do they have to go away in a year??!!
Anyway my sis had not had the pleasure of having me all to herself so, for 2 days I ran rings round her!!! Sorry sis but I was enjoying myself, and thank you for looking after me so well, despite the fact that I was being a wee pain hahahahaha
Well I was back at Adele again (the vet), she loves me but I can't say the feeling is mutual. This time she was sticking needles into me, my annual protection I believe, I  was a little off the next day but otherwise no problems except...........that car!
My life continues to be a bed of roses as I get lots of love, new things and chicken, I LOVE chicken. Here I am demolishing the contents of a stolen pack of chicken.

The Engagement

So my Dad, Bro and Sis all arrived back from their holidays and my mum and I were very pleased to see them. It seems they all had a great time and here is an adventure picture of them in Peru after a 4 day trek to Machu Piccu

On the Saturday they were all at a Masquerade Ball to celebrate Emma's mums birthday and........guess what........my bro proposed to Emma!!

Peru

My Dad and Bro went off to Peru on Tuesday to have an adventure. They have been in the Amazon spider and alligator hunting...........I mean why would you??? Anyway they seem to be having an amazing time there and have seen and done loads. Today they start on a 4 day trek to Machu Picchu, I believe this is what the whole holiday is about and they are really looking forward to it. They will be home next Saturday. I miss you Dad xx
On Tuesday my sis is off to Barcelona for a few days so it'll be me and Mum, we'll be fine!
We went to Grans for dinner and I got a nice new bed.
My Mum got me this fancy 'cave' bed for the winter as I get cold and shivery

On a sunny day (and we've not had many of those) my Mum thinks she needs her sunglasses more than I do.............but I know better!!

I'm trying to hide them but she's spotted me "what have you got there Bailey"??

All Alone and feeling Blue

So my Mum and my Sis went away and left me again.  They disappeared out of the house with those suitcase things and I didn't see them for 3 days:(:(:(. Well I'm used to my sis leaving but my Mum??? this is not allowed, I MISS YOU MUM, WHERE ARE YOU???  Stobo Castle apparently being pampered.
My Dad however was very good at looking after me and he came home regularly throughout the day to   let me out and love me, thank you Dad, but I WANT MY MUM.
They arrived back on Saturday afternoon and boy was it great to see them, now I will stay by your side constantly Mum to make sure you don't disappear again!

My Birthday

Today is my 1st Birthday and I have been treated to a nice new collar and lead, red leather with diamante, a fab new toy and many treats.

Beach Bailey

Where's the Beach....................

Yesterday my Mum and Dad said they would take me to the Beach. Well I've never been to the beach before but they made it sound very exciting and I was looking forward to it until......you've got it...........we got in the car, I HATE the car. So I moaned and performed the whole way there but, it was worth it. I absolutely loved the beach. Big open spaces and hardly a person or dog around and no cars, it was just great.

Then exhaustion sets in!

Who is Max??

All weekend I've been getting asked how I would feel if Max came to stay? All I've heard is Max Max Max. Who is this Dude?? Would he eat my food? Sit on my family's knee? Make a noise? How do I know if I want him to come? I don't really like other dogs you know - but apparently he's my brother!!
Can someone help me make a decision? And if he came, what if we just didn't get on together?? oh my questions, questions, questions??????????????
