BUSY WEEK

Well it's been a busy week with visitors galore and my dad and Sis are home for the holidays so it's fun time all the time!
On Monday my Bro and Emma came to visit and then my Gran went home.
Tuesday was a quieter day then on Wednesday Lindsey and Eilidh came for a visit and I loved them, and they have good fingers to bite!
On Thursday Lynsey came then she took my sis out and sent her back in a sorry state!
Friday and my sis can't get her head up! I believe it's Keith's fault - something called Skittle Bombs??
Saturday and my Mum and Dad disappeared into Glasgow so me and Sis had a great afternoon, and that's it for 2011!!
I'm now 5 months old and absolutely loving my home and family - I hope, and expect that 2012 will be a really exciting year for me as I grow up with a family who adore me. I have really thrived in the past few months and am eating well and living the high life. My Mum is planning to get me used to the lead and car in January....hmmmmmm...... we'll see!!

MERRY CHRISSS MAS...EVERYONE

Christmas Day, turkey and presents.......and lots of people, with dangerous feet!!!
Well Christmas Day was an experience for a Papillons' first Christmas - I have mixed feelings about the excitement of it all as I was largely kept away from the excitement for some hours while they ate and made merry - WITHOUT ME !!! :( - My Mum said this was the safe option for me.
However on a much brighter note I had lovely Turkey, Yummy ham and Presents and when all the extras left I had a great time running around and deciding which knee to choose.
Oh and I think Hurricane Bawbag's back! If not it must be hurricane something else but I don't like it and boy did I let them know at midnight....and 1am......and 2am
Boxing Day today so playing with my new toys and more turkey and ham yummmmmmi

ON SATURDAY I DECIDED TO GET THAT LARGE BRANCH WHICH FELL DURING THE STORM SORTED SO ENLISTED THE HELP OF MY DAD AND HIS TRUSTY (OR IS THAT RUSTY!) SAW. GOT IT ALL CLEARED UP, PHEW zzzzzz
MUM ALSO BOUGHT ME A BALL WHICH SHE THOUGHT WOULD FIT MY LITTLE GUB AND IT NEARLY DOES. I LOVE IT AND AM VERY GOOD AT FETCH.
EMMA VISITED AGAIN AND I LOVE HER, SHE LOVES ME, MUTUAL ADMIRATION BUT WAIT....WHERE ARE YOU GOING EMMA, YOU'VE ONLY BEEN HERE A FEW MINUTES.
AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY SIS? SOMETHING TELLS ME A BIT TOO MUCH OF THE VINO!!!!

DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE AGAIN!!

SO THEY ALL WENT OUT AND LEFT ME LAST NIGHT - FOR HOURS AND HOURS!! I'M TOLD IT WAS FOR CHRISTMAS NIGHTS OUT, WELL THEY HAVE NO RIGHT, SO, REVENGE THIS MORNING HA!
I'LL START OFF BY BEING A LITTLE PEST WHEN THEY'RE TRYING TO SLEEP - I NEED OUT, 4 TIMES! AND I NEED FED, BUT I'LL NOT EAT IT OR DRINK, THAT'LL WORRY MY MUM. THEN WHEN THEY WANT TO EAT I'LL BARK, BITE AND DEMAND TO BE PLAYED WITH.
ALSO WHERE'S THE CHICKEN? MUM WENT INTO THE FRIDGE AND CAME OUT WITH.......PUPPY MILK! GET THE CHICKEN MUM!!!!!!
I ALSO LOVE THESE CHEWY BONE THINGS MUM GOT ME - YUM, THEY KEEP ME HAPPY FOR HOURS.
THE WEATHER'S BEEN COLD AND ICY THE PAST FEW DAYS, QUITE FUN NOW I'M USED TO IT AND I LIKE TO LOOK CUTE STANDING WITH ONE PAW UP AT A TIME.
CAROL CAME TO VISIT - HMMMM I'M NOT TOO SURE OF HER, THEN LINDSEY CAME, NOT TOO SURE OF HER EITHER - THEY BOTH SMELLED OF BIG DOGS.
ITS THE WEEKEND NOW - I'LL GET THEM SORTED BY SUNDAY XXX

HURRICANE BAWBAG!!

YES INDEED HURRICANE BAWBAG, AND BOY DID IT HOWL ROUND THE HOUSE. I JUST CUDDLED UP AND PRETENDED IT WASN'T HAPPENING - THAT IS UNTIL MUM TOOK ME OUTSIDE, I NEARLY HAD MY HAIR BLOWN OFF, THINK I'LL MAYBE PREFER TO USE THE CARPET THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
THEN BACK TO SEE ADELE FOR MORE CUDDLES (I STILL DON'T LIKE THAT CAR) AND SHE SAYS MY EAR IS STILL A LITTLE RED AND WAXY INSIDE SO BACK TO THE DROPS - I REALLY DON'T LIKE THEM YOU KNOW. 
AND SO CHRISTMAS IS COMING AND WE ARE EXPECTING SOME PEOPLE FOR DINNER, I LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS TURKEY, ESPECIALLY AS I LOVE CHICKEN SO MUCH!
MY SIS SHOWED ME A PHOTO OF ANGEL (MY PUPPY SIS) AND BOY IS SHE BEAUTIFUL, I WONDER HOW MAXIMUS IS DOING (MY PUPPY BRO)??
AND SO DAD AND SIS ARE BACK TO WORK SO THE HOUSE IS A QUIETER PLACE TODAY, MAYBE CATCH SOME ZZZZZZZ'S

SO WHAT NEXT I ASK MYSELF? WET WHITE STUFF?? AND BOY DOES IT PILE UP! IT IS FUN THOUGH AND I WAS ENJOYING IT ONCE I GOT USED TO IT - A BIT SLIPPY IN PLACES THOUGH!
MY DAD HAD A BIG SHOVEL THING TO MAKE A PATH BUT, OF COURSE I PREFER TO RUN RIGHT THROUGH IT. AND WHAT ELSE, A LARGE GREEN TREE WITH LOTS OF LIGHTS AND SHINY TINKLY THINGS HAS APPEARED IN THE FRONT ROOM! DOES THAT MEAN I DON'T HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE NOW, I WONDER??
ALSO I'M SURE I HEARD ELIZABETH TELLING MY MUM NOT TO LET ME CHEW SHOES OR SLIPPERS AS I REALLY DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OLD SHOES AND JIMMY CHOOS!!
SO WHEN SHE WAS ENGROSSED IN THE X FACTOR I PINCHED HER SLIPPERS - YUM YUM.
LIFE IS GOOD ALTHOUGH MY LEFT EAR IS STILL DOWN - I STILL CAN'T SEE THE PROBLEM WITH THIS THOUGH!

BACK AGAIN

Well I have been unable to update as I just couldn't access the account but my Mum's got it sorted now! To be honest though there's not really been a lot happening and the weather's been so bad all my Mum's plans to get me used to the lead have been put on hold, not that I'm complaining!!
My ear infection seems to have cleared up but I'm refusing to put my left ear up again - my dad says I look cute like that though so what's the problem I ask??
Can you believe they have erected the barrier to the stairs again, a bigger and better one so I'm working hard on this one! I don't make it easy for them as I kick up a bit of a row when they go up to the nice cosy beds at night without me :(
I believe I've grown and how in the past few weeks and this seems to be a good thing and my options for escape are becoming less now - Well that's what they think anyway but I try

PUPPY POWER

So..... the barricade that they had on the stairs, who are they kidding. It may have kept me out for a week but now I have mastered it there's no stopping me!! And you know what I can do stairs really well and you know what else??? THERE'S A WHOLE OTHER HOUSE UP THERE!!!! It has rooms and toilets but best of all...BEDS! Big comfy beds- OOOOh I like it up there.
On Tuesday I met Adele- she's the vet, and very nice too but my mum had to tell her I wasn't just there to be cuddled and fussed over, though I was enjoying the attention. 
Turns out I have an ear infection so I have to have drops put in twice a day, so no photos today as my ears are a bit scruffy at the present - not the sexiest look for one so handsome!
Other than the ear infection life is good, in fact GREAT!! I really love it here and they look after me well and of course, I have all 3 of them wrapped round my little paw - especially my sis, she's putty in my paws!!

Baking, Banana Bread and Bird Feeding Thingy

Saturday and more exciting adventures, due mainly to the fact that my dad and sis were at home ALL day - YAAAAY.
CHAAAARGE - sis and I had a bit of a crazy half hour dancing and charging around the house like mad things (it wasn't me mum!) before getting out the baking stuff and making some Banana Bread, mmmmmm it smells good in that hot thing!
Then dad and I got the metal bits out of the box and it flourished into, of all things, a bird feeding thingy!! More charging around - ooh it's fun - before settling down for a nap.
Lois visited at night and then took my sis away for a party at Emma's.
Today is Sunday and it's exactly 1 week since I arrived here. I'm told I've really come out my shell (do they think I'm a crab??) and have even grown a little and I keep my ears up most of the time despite the trials of teething - chew, chew, chew - everything in sight including fingers.
We went to see my Gran in the car today - I really  DON'T like the car and shook the whole way there and back and even threatened to be sick!

Rain and EMMA!

Yesterday was a quieter day for me apart from my walk on the lead -THAT was fun! My mum took me for a walk round the street and I was getting some very admiring glances and, being the friendly boy that I am I spoke to them all, then it rained...and rained.....and rained! I DON'T like puddles!! They make my paws wet.
Today I was told Emma was coming ( who is Emma???) 
As promised Emma arrived and, indeed, she was exciting, giving me all the attention that a small, cute Papillon deserves and...... she has a hard thing in the middle of her tummy - great for a teething puppy! Why was she yelping when I chewed it?? Is yelping not my job?
I also made friends with my heat pad - it has great ears for chewing.
 Mum and I also managed a couple of treks in the jungle today so now it's time for a snooze, see you tomorrow. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What A Day!!

WELL! You just won't believe what I was working at today- After making such a great job of the leaves yesterday today it was, would you believe - TREE FELLING!! A 35 foot silver birch to be exact and what a mess. Well now I know how to use the broom.
As if that wasn't enough - A BATH, for goodness sake, I wasn't that dirty after the tree, oh and my rummage under the garden shed!
I was very good again today and spared the horrible burgandy carpet from my eliminations (maybe I should go full pelt at it and might help mum to get rid of it!)

My New Home

On Sunday 13th November I was taken  to my new home in East Kilbride. I was left with 3 people who looked very pleased to see me albeit a bit nervous. I decided not to speak to them until I had completely summed them up! They had a lovely bed and blankets for me but I spied 3 very willing sets of knees, hmm decisions, decisions! I tried them all on size and what d ya know they all fitted - I'm quite happy.
I had a lovely meal, christened their carpet and went to sleep.
A good sleep later, some grub - is this all for me?? then out to check out the greenery - it's quite nice.
Did a lot of sleeping with my new mummy then more food, garden, carpet christening and sleep. I still hadn't spoken to them until my new mummy decided to go for a shower!
How dare she leave me alone? I let her hear my voice then ok! Monday was a good sleepy day and my new gran came for a visit - she has GREAT knees.
Tuesday came and - I've been put to work! All those leaves to sort out, my goodness no wonder I sleep so much. I'm told I've been very good today because I didn't christen the carpet at all but used the garden.
I think I like it here and my confidence is growing
